How Amor y Risas Came to Be

My name is Maribel (also know as Bea) and I started Amor y Risas in 2018.  I loved coming up with puns and found it very relaxing to paint pictures to go along with them.  I enjoyed sharing them with my family and friends and at first they thought my painting/ pun combination was weird, but that didn't stop me.  Soon after I started, I realized that there was not a variety of Spanish greeting cards available out there for the Hispanic community, so I started turning my paintings into cards.  I wanted to offer a variety of simple cards that brings smiles to the giver and receiver when they read them.  My cards challenge the giver to write their own little blurb on the inside to make the card extra special.  Once I started, I couldn’t stop and now I have many cards available for different occasions.  I paint the pictures myself, using watercolor and I get a laugh from all the puns and saying I come up with.  Each card is made with a lot of love and I hope you all enjoy them and can share them with your friends and family to spread the Amor y Risas.
